Warren Henderson has a single heck of a Hudson. How quite a few variety matching 1942 Hudson T-20s do you see around these times? Not lots of! If you do I doubt they are as nieces Warren’s.
I’ll allow Warren converse about his wonderful Hudson…
“My 1942 Hudson 20-T is a number matching automobile with VIN T- 2017742, the motor and frame numbers have the exact same matching range, maybe designed on Oct. 31 of ’41. All the trim parts, chrome plated bumpers, and bright metal are in wonderful condition.”
“Motor vehicles designed just after January 1st, 1942, have been identified as “victory cars” or “blackouts”, mainly because the government did not enable the use of chrome or stainless-steel trim then, owing to the war effort and hard work. The inside, paint and undercarriage seem like the day the first very pleased proprietor drove it household from the dealership. It has a 6-cylinder engine with 3-pace column change (“3-on-a-tree”) which was the most generally preferred motor / shift possibility for 1942. Output began in September and finished on February 5th, 1942, thanks to WWII. Only 40,661 Hudsons have been created, which would make it a extremely exceptional motor vehicle. It seems to be starts and drives just like the working day it was driven residence. It also experienced a extremely intriguing vendor mounted choice, a twin dimension mattress that fit into the trunk, ask me why!!!!”
